With all due respect, Ames, IA Community School District received the following on 21 MAR 2022:
- Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA 1974) – Iowa Open Records Request – Ames, IA Community School District – #002 – 01 of 02
Section 1 of 2: This document was sent to the Ames, IA Community School District School Board, members of the State of Iowa legislature, and local law enforcement.
- Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA 1974) – Iowa Open Records Request – Ames, IA Community School District – #002 – 02 of 02
Section 2 of 2: This document was sent only to the Ames, IA Community School District School Board, including, as shown in the below attachments, all required documentation in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA 1974) and my family court judgment your district requested. This correspondence was separated into two sections as I didn’t feel it was appropriate to bombard 150 members of the Iowa legislature with my children’s birth certificates, copies of my identification, and relevant court documents.
I am requesting all records as stipulated in my original request referencing the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA 1974) and Iowa Code Chapter 22. I am also requesting the documentation provided by Sara N. Merritt establishing her as the legal guardian of these children as she was not on the birth certificates submitted to Ames, IA Community School District.
I filed a complaint with the US Department of Education and Iowa Department of Education because Ames, IA Community School District’s 28 MAR 2022 response was quite extraordinary regarding its claim that I am not a parent to any of this district’s students after its 21 MAR 2022 receipt of all required documents establishing my identity.
I intend to work with the Ames, IA Community School District to assist with tightening up this district’s registration process. I am not here to be an adversary to Ames, IA Community School District. I am here to provide lessons learned regarding this situation involving child concealment across the states of California, Iowa, and Montana. I do not seek to waste further time pursuing anything against agencies that have shown me respect, transparency, and a desire to fix this problem for future students and their parents.
My mission is to identify those involved that have executed malice in this situation. I have no evidence or reason to believe Ames, IA Community School District is a part of that paradigm. From the evidence I have, I believe the only thing Ames, IA Community School District needs to accomplish is satisfying my requests in accordance with federal and state law and showing me an authentic desire to ensure this situation does not occur again with future students that are being concealed from the court having jurisdiction and an innocent parent.
I spent 20 years of my life serving the freedoms and liberties of my fellow Americans. That is what I intend to do.
